Terms and Conditions

Please read my terms and conditions carefully as payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The wedding day deposit is due at the trial, and is 50% of the total cost of the booking. This is non-refundable in the event of a part or complete cancellation. This will be deducted from your final wedding day cost.

If you want to book the date before your trial, a £100 deposit is required. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. This will be deducted from your final wedding day cost.

The balance is payable by cash, cheque or bank transfer and must be paid 21 days before the wedding date.

Notice of cancellation must be received 8 weeks prior to the wedding date. If notice to cancel is given after this time, the full outstanding balance must still be paid.

Prices quoted are subject to change and will be finalised at the trial.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Travel costs are for mileage only.

Do I need a trial?
For the bride? Usually yes. It lets us discuss and try out hair ideas, without any time pressure. It allows me to photograph the hairstyles, check hair type, wedding accessories, wedding dress, tiara and work out timings, so there are no "surprises" on your wedding morning. Simply, it makes sure things will run smoothly for the whole bridal party on the day.

How long will my wedding hair take?
This depends on the final hairstyle you want, and the preparation required to achieve that look (curling, straightening, etc). There is no time limit on the wedding trial to ensure you are completely happy with the final result. On average, a wedding trial will take 2-3 hours for the bride. It is not compulsory for bridesmaids to have a trial.

When do I pay?
Trials should be paid for during the trial. If you would then like to book me for your wedding day, a 50% deposit of the total bridal party cost is then required to secure the booking. Contact me for this year's rates. This must be paid at the trial/confirmation of booking.

I want to book, but I'm not ready for a trial
If you need to 'save the date' before a trial can be arranged then please contact me.

How much will it cost?
2013-14 prices are here. Please note a minimum spend of £140 + travel is required per booking.

My Mum has short hair and is wearing a hat. Does this affect her hair cost?
Bridal party members who have short hair, that just require a style and blow-dry can be accommodated.

My wedding venue is far away. Will I incur a travelling surcharge?
Clients within a 10 mile radius of Elgin will not incur a surcharge. Out with that, will incur a very reasonable charge. Prices available on request.

Can you do my wedding make-up as well?
I specialise in hairstyling, cutting and colouring, but can recommend a make-up artist, to consult with you.
