Wedding Hairdressing

Having your hair styled for your wedding should be a treat that will leave you relaxed and confident you look your absolute best for the day ahead!

I have always been fascinated by red carpet looks and I think there is nothing that completes your look better than a glamorous hairstyle, especially on your wedding day!  I am constantly updating my skills with training from Patrick Cameron, Anne VeckSaks, Callam WarringtonJohn Vial, James Rowe amongst other session stylists, to give you a bespoke style that will be the finishing touch to your bridal look.

I begin with a hair consultation before your hair is blow dried and set. Your hair is then dressed out and finished or pinned up to achieve that 'red carpet' look that will last all day and night.  As a self confessed product addict, I use only the best - Kerastase, L'Oreal Professionnel Tech Ni Art, Wella Professional, Tigi, Paul Mitchell and Kiehls, to give your hair volume, shine and hold and make you feel amazing!

Because I am freelance,  you can be assured that you'll have no call out charges, or expensive travel surcharges.  You can rest assured that you will have my services until the last minute, no rushing back to a salon.  After all,  the bridal party getting ready together is a really special part of the day, so relax and enjoy the time together!

I am based in the North of Scotland. I work in the areas of Aberdeenshire, Moray, Highland and the towns and cities of Aberdeen, Inverness, Aviemore and Inverurie.

I specialise in vintage hair styles, bridal hairdressing, bride or formal parties at wedding venues, cutting, colour and photographic work.  I aim to deliver salon quality colouring, cutting, styling and stylish hair up options to people who want quality hairstyles outside the constraints of quality salons.

I was trained to cut hair and colour by Rainbow Room International.  I went on to work as a top colourist/stylist for the iconic D.L.C in the UK.  I was integral to DLC reaching the L'Oreal Colour Trophy final in London, UK. Inspired by the creativity of fashion editorials and fine art photography, I became a freelance hairdresser in 2003 and have worked with some of the creative industry's most talented individuals, including new art directors, fine art photographers, fashion make up artists, other wedding hairdressers, top wedding planners and sumptuous wedding venues.

I am used to producing top quality results, in high pressure environments, so am well equipped to work on several clients to a deadline.
